What is my StudentSense role?

Article Summary

The Platform Activity menu shows institution-wide activity across three charts:

  • Responses received
  • Questions asked
  • Replies sent

Each chart includes an information (i) icon explaining what the chart displays.

Chart timeframes can be adjusted:

  • Default view is last 12 weeks
  • Switch to preset ranges (e.g. Last 7 days)
  • Use Custom to set a specific start and end date

Activity can be compared across segment categories (as configured by the institution):

  • Select Compare
  • Choose a segment (e.g. Campus, Department, Qualification)
  • Select up to five segment options
  • Apply to display separate bars for each option

At a glance

The Platform Activity menu displays 3 key activity charts reflecting StudentSense user activity across your entire institution, being:

  1. Responses received
  2. Questions asked
  3. Replies sent

For further information on what each chart shows, click on the information icon (i).

 

Change time period for your charts

For each of the charts, you can change the period of the data or compare the activity within each segment category.

By default, the chart will show results for the last 12 weeks, but you can click on other time periods (e.g. LAST 7 DAYS), or alternatively, you can choose “CUSTOM” to define your own start and end time periods for the chart.

 

Compare activity within each segment category

Note: the available segments are created by your institution admin. In this example, we have a demo account where we have created the following segments: Campus, Department, and Qualification.

  1. Click on Compare.
  1. Choose a Segment and select up to five options to compare. Then click Apply.
  1. The graph now displays bars for the chosen options.
