You can manually close a question at any time while it is live.
To close a question:
- Open the question card from a class or Question menu
- Click the three dots and select Close question
Once closed, the question will stop accepting responses.
You can reopen a question by:
- Asking it again immediately (Ask now / Present)
- Scheduling it to go live again at a later time
Reopening allows you to continue collecting responses from students.
Close a question
When a question is live, whether indefinitely or until a scheduled close time, you can manually close it at any moment.
- Navigate to any live question card, which can be found in a class or Question menu, and click on the three dots in the top right of the question card, and click Close question
Reopen a question
When a question is closed, you can reopen a question by either asking it again immediately or schedule it to go live at another time.
- Navigate to any closed question card, which can be found in a class or Question menu, and click on the three dots in the top right of the question card.
- Click Present or Ask now to make the question go live immediately. Alternatively, click Schedule for later to make the question go live at another time.
