First, access the Question Bank menu under the Manage settings:
The Question Bank menu allows you to design and add questions for any educator that are under your institution to use. You can create a question bank for the whole institution, or specific segments.
Add questions to question bank
- Choose whether you want to add questions to the institution’s Question Bank or to specific segments.
- Then, click Create category.
- Type in the category name and click Create.
- Under the newly created category, click Add question.
- Then, create your question. For more information on question creation, see Advanced question customisation. Once done, click Create.
- After this, educators will have access to the questions depend on their assigned segment.
Modify the question bank
In terms of modifying the question bank:
- You cannot edit the question after it has been added. However, you can delete and recreate the question if you need to. To delete a question, choose the Trash bin icon next to a question.
- Instead of deleting a question, you can also remove a question from the Question Bank by disabling it.
In terms of modifying question bank categories:
- You can move categories by using the movement symbol located next to the category name and either dragging the category with your mouse or using the arrow keys
- You can rename a category by selecting the three dots next to the category and selecting Edit category name.
- You can only delete a category once all the questions under that category are deleted. To delete a category, select the three dots next to the category and select Delete category.
