Once your questions are in, you can shape how this Question Set's results will be scored and shown - any time before reports are distributed. It's optional, but it's where StudentSense flexes to match how your institution already reads evaluations. Nothing here changes the questions themselves.
Choose a primary question
Nominate one Matrix statement as the headline metric for the Question Set - the single score that leads dashboards and educator reports. Only Matrix questions are eligible, because they produce a comparable number.
Set response rate thresholds
Colour-code response rates so you can see at a glance whether an Evaluation has enough responses to trust. The default bands flag a rate as healthy, marginal, or low - adjust them with Edit thresholds to match your own expectations.
Choose the score calculation
Decide how responses are summed into a single score. This is the flexible scoring StudentSense is built around - pick the method your institution already uses rather than adopting a new one.
Configure colours opens a dialog where you define the bands a score falls into. Name each band, give it a colour, and set the value it applies above; the final band catches every lower score. Add or remove bands to match your scoring scheme.
Set permissions
Control what teachers and leaders can see when results are released. These settings protect student anonymity - text responses are always anonymised, and the response-count threshold stops results displaying for cohorts too small to stay anonymous.
