FAQs
I cannot find the course I am teaching to import it in StudentSense.
For your LMS course to appear in StudentSense, it must meet the following requirements:
- The course needs to be published
- The course needs to have enrolled students
- The course needs to have both a start and end date (the end date must be in the future)
- Your LMS role must have teaching or course-convenor level permissions
If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to help@studentsense.com for additional support.
Do I need to continually invite students to my StudentSense classes?
No.
Once you have imported classes from your LMS, they will automatically be available to students enrolled in your class. As students leave your class, they will also automatically be removed from your StudentSense classes.
How will students be notified of any new questions sent through StudentSense?
Students receive email notifications to their student email, and if they're using the StudentSense mobile app, they'll also receive push notifications when new questions are released.
If there are multiple trainers in a class, will my colleagues be able to access the same class?
If there are multiple trainers in a class, everyone will have the option to import it to their respective StudentSense account, on a first come, first served basis. You can then grant access to other classes on StudentSense by adding them as co-educators to the class.
If I want to ask questions across multiple units, can I do this via my LMS?
As StudentSense in your LMS is tied to each course shell, you cannot ask questions across multiple units from within the LMS. If you wish to ask questions across multiple units at the same time, you can do so via your studentsense.com account. Just make sure to log in via Microsoft.
